Julia Taylor is an attorney practicing civil litigation with a focus in administrative law.  Before joining Strobo Barkley PLLC, Julia was the Senior Staff Attorney for the Honorable Phillip J. Shepherd, Chief Judge of the Franklin Circuit Court.   She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and also serves on several boards including the Snowy Owl Foundation and Kentucky Natural Lands Trust.  Julia attended Hanover College and graduated cum laude in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science and an emphasis in Business.  While at Hanover, she played soccer, was active in political campaigns, and worked a semester in Washington D.C. for Senator Evan Bayh’s communication office.  In 2012, she received her J.D. from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law where she was a Notes Editor for the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law.
